Competitive Analysis
There are many tools and methods for problem solving. My toolkit allows me to reach for the right tool(s) for innovation, take a human-centered approach, and produce outcome driven results. Two well known outcomes and processes are the Double Diamond and the other Design Thinking.
The value in the former is in the outcome not the process. It focuses on user’s needs and how they are being met. This approach allows you to create and improve the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) to provide value to the user.
The latter is a 5 stage process from Stanford Design School. At the heart, empathy or understanding your users is the primary focus since you are trying to solve their problems and understand the way they do things. This helps to uncover insights throughout the process.
